If you are resizing triangle the seam allowances are different. For example, if you are resizing a piece that is cut on the diagonal, you need to subtract/add 7/8 of an inch (.875). By the same token, if you are resizing a piece that is cut on the diagonals both ways, you have to subtract/add 1 1/4 inch (1.25) for the seam allowances.
