I am going to make it into a pillow for my couch in my sewing room. I will comment back to you here when I get it made and share it on my blog. Thanks for these great tips. Do I have to use a walking foot? I have also heard not to drop the feed dogs but instead to set the stitch length to 0 because it disengages the feed dogs, however my machine won't go all the way to 0. I also ordered a supreme slider so I am waiting until it arrives. Please help with settings on my machine. Thanks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02447747130444949447noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3369260148647737464.post-34465539346679554962012-06-29T17:51:53.907-04:002012-06-29T17:51:53.907-04:00Great post! Thanks for sharing your process, the tension thing always gets me - most times I am guessing and test it several times on a spare quilt sandwich I keep close by for just that purpose. Someday I will get the hang of it the way you have I hope!Habibti at Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17354959971043983578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3369260148647737464.post-197429753392364222012-06-28T20:30:36.640-04:002012-06-28T20:30:36.640-04:00Wow this is so helpful! I'm not sure how well it would work on my old machine, but I might go to open sewing at Quilter's Corners. And you better believe I'll try some practice sandwiches. ;)Books_Boundhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16723318921408246471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3369260148647737464.post-55740575426334349042012-06-28T14:24:32.274-04:002012-06-28T14:24:32.274-04:00Most excellent tutorial and awesome pep talk.
