My diningtable is a 67" round table and the method did not work too well. Taking both boards to the ground went ok, but my back hurts like hell now. I got my free from a store closing. Works great for smoothing out wrinkles too. Mine are 3/4" thick, 2-1/2" wide, and 8 feet long. I believe they sell them in the trim wood section. These work great and won't damage your quilt at all.
