Fastest quilt finish I've had in the longest time. Yippee, I finished my MQG/Michael Miller Fabric Challenge quilt. And I'm pleased with the result - The Deconstructed Pinwheel!
The back
This was a fun quilt to make. The finished size is 40" x 55 1/2". I used Quilters Dream Wool batting and of course yummy three different colors of Aurifil 50wt thread.
That empty spool on my Pfaff is my fav, # 5004. Fortunately, I just order some more of it through Hawthorne Threads.
To all my U.S. peeps, Happy Independence Day! To everyone else, Happy Finished Friday!

Wow, this is really nice looking and I love your quilting!
ReplyDeleteYour quilting is amazing, as is your quilt design! Great finish!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing quilting. I loved the swirls in the gray immediately, but until I saw the back I thought the coloured fabric was unquilted. You have followed the fabric pattern SO precisely, it's incredible. Fingers crossed for the challenge.
ReplyDeleteGreat finish! I hope you do well in the challenge.
ReplyDeleteAwesome as usual Pat!!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
This is stunning! I love your pattern. So modern and beautiful! Then the quilting on top of that...gorgeous. I hope you win with this. You deserve it. That is for sure.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful design and quilting! I love the challenge fabric on the grey.
ReplyDeleteOh.my.goodness. The quilting on this is so stunning. Love it! And, I like the fun, modern take on the pinwheel too!
