WIP Wednesday: Stitching with Abandon!

May is my month to play catch up on all of the projects that I have been working. I am quite behind, especially on my Quokka Quilt QAYGFMQQAL, but I made some significant progress this week.

Four more blocks and I'm done! Okay, so I do have to put them together.

This week I also completed my Sew Cal Gal's April FMQ Challenge piece.

 I do have a finish this week, my Ringmaster iPad case

My stats this week are:
In-process: (8)
FLMQG solids challenge crib quilt (2 out of 9 Urban Nine Patch blocks done)
Purple heart wall hanging ( needs borders, backing, quilting and binding)
Expanding Possibilities quilt (basted, now to be quilted)
Storybook quilt # 1 -   quilt the border and bind it
Storybook quilt # 2 - All embroidery is done
Quokka Quilts QAYGFMQQAL quilt (26 blocks out of 30 quilted)
Geneva Public Library quilt - join and quilt (maybe make a block or two to even it out)
Sew Cal Gal's March FMQ Challenge - Need to bind.

Fresh Sewing Day May

I love spring, with all the fresh growth and soft colors. Unfortunately, my gardens pull me away from my sewing machine. But I was able to finish 4 projects this month and work on a few more.

Woohoo, The Ringmaster iPad Case is Complete!

Okay, so it's a bit late, okay really late! This is for my step-daughter's significant other's birthday...which was March 17th. Sometimes, other stuff just gets in the way. Hopefully he will like it!

I think this came out really cool. And trust me, with four kids between the two of them, all under 9 years old, he really is a Ringmaster!

Time for My 2nd Quarter Finish-A-Long List

Yes, it is a long list! Why, because I got so much done in the first quarter??? No, I only finished one of my three projects, but I got a lot of projects "ready" to finish! Honest, I did!

So here is my LONG list!
1. Storybook Quilt # 1 

Quilt the border and bind!

2. Wholecloth

Finish microstippling, block and bind!

3. iPad Case

Make the front panel, flap, lining and assemble

4. Painted Mini

Heat set and bind

5. Expanding Possibilities

Quilt and bind

6. Urban Nine Patch Baby Quilt

Make 7 more blocks, the back, baste, quilt, bind! (This is my really long shot at finishing)

7. Sewing Machine Cover

Bind and add ties.

8. Library Quilt

Add two more blocks, back, baste, quilt, bind!

9. Quokka Quilts QAYGFMQQAL Quilt

Finish quilting the rest of the blocks, assemble, bind.
