Swimming Right Along


Amazing what a little thread can accomplish!
 All three koi are completed! I've started in on the "water" around them. I love the vibrancy of the oranges (28wt Aurifil) and the texture of the navy (50wt Aurifil).


Back (not perfect, but so much better than the embroidered fish I did)


 I'm just loving how this quilt is coming together. All those borders are going to be a blast to quilt and it's a long weekend coming up. SWEET!

    What a great choice of colour & thread for the Koi. It has made them pop on the quilt with the finer thread supporting them in the background. Very clever. the quilt is looking good.
