But I did get the back to my Koi Pond quilt completed.

I did mark a sample to FMQ a koi for this quilt. Hopefully that will stitch out and look cool, since the machine embroidered ones where quite messy on the back. Kind of setting me up for - Woman vs. Machine!

I'm tickled by your abstract koi and lilies. My husband knows I'm nuts and has become awesome at covering up his reactions at my outlandish ideas. It's just the back too? I saw the quilt. Big difference. I love the way you think.
ReplyDeleteI totally see a koi pond in this quilt back. I like the minimalism, very cool!
ReplyDeleteI think your back is fun. I like piecing random backs from fabric in the quilt. It is a nice final touch.
ReplyDeleteI love the back! I have been sort of falling along with this quilt and I really like it; can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteSo this is the quilt that will get that amazing koi fish you showed us the other day? Cool! I can't wait to see how that works for you. I have a quilt - a UFO from years ago! - that needs several koi and a blue heron quilted into it. You may be my hero :*D
ReplyDeleteI love it! I just looked at the top and I love them together!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is really cute. I love pieced backs on quilts because it adds so much interest.
ReplyDeleteI love the back you created for that beautiful Koi fish!
ReplyDeleteI love the back - it's just perfect!
ReplyDeleteHope that you are feeling better soon!
I love the back, and the front! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOnce its all quilted, it would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like the back with little pop of the fabrics.
