Nobody Chopped Their Ears Off!

I'm talking about the IMQG Art Grid Project using Vincent vanGogh's Starry Night. It truly was challenging, but the group came through with some AMAZING work.

Although we are still missing one block (which should be done soon), I LOVE this quilt. I am so proud of the members of my guild.

Block 21

The plan is to have the top of this quilt sewn together by the next meeting. Our fearless project leader, Terri,  has offered to take on that challenge. Great job everyone!

At yesterday's meeting we also had a fantastic guest speaker, Alice Gant. Alice is known for her large reverse applique' banners. Just amazing how she works.

You can read more about her visit at the Ithaca Modern Quilt Guild (IMQG) blog.

I'm so inspired and blessed to be part of this group of awesomely talented quilters!
