WIP Wednesday

I like WIP Wednesday, it makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. Sometimes blogging makes me feel like I'm not getting much done.

This week I finally picked my Elephant quilt back up, after a month of not working on it. Last night I started the last "row" of quilting for the navy panel. The panel is 3 yards long (108"). I still have a third panel to sandwich and baste. My goal is to have it all three panels completely quilted by the end of the month. Doesn't sound hard, except that I'm easily distracted by other "shiny and new" projects.

I also did a little FMQ on my Express Your Love quilt. I'm really enjoying the pace of this quilt - no deadlines or rushing.

Here are this week's stats:
In-process: (4)
Elephant quilt
Express Your Love
Layers quilt
Grandma's Quilt

New projects: (0)

Finished (0)

  1. I am totally jealous of your smooth curves! ha ha. I guess I will keep practicing. In the last picture - on the green fabric - what type of thread are you quilting with?
