Fugly Fabric Giveaway - CLOSED!

I just have to take a break from a crazy wedding weekend (my stepdaughter is getting married) and join in the Fugly Fabric Party over at Charm About You. I was digging in my stash the other day and came across some of my mom's fabric. Some pretty fall fabrics that is so appropriate for this time of year, but not quite my taste. Hopefully, someone will fall in love with this bundle of over 6 yards of fabric.

Brown leaf fabric - approx. 3/4 yd
Gold squares fabric - approx. 1/2 yd
Pumpkin tonal fabric - approx. 1 yd +
Green leaf fabric - approx. 2 yds
Green tonal fabric - approx. 2 yds +

Straight from the fabric store, never washed (at least I don't think so). Okay, it was purchased quite a while back, but still nice fabric.

I will ship internationally. I've been listening to a lot of Pandora Radio lately, so leave me with a comment telling me your favorite song/artist and I will pick the winner based purely on a whim and song/artist that I like. If there is more the one of the same that I pick, I will let Random.org pick the winner on August 31st at 7:00 p.m. EDT. I'll announce the winner on Sunday morning September 1st. PLEASE make sure I have your email address, no email address = no entry!

I hope you all like my Fugly Fabric giveaway! I'm linking up with Lucy at Charm About You, go check out the rest of the giveaways!

Color Me Quilty!

  14. Please don't include me in your giveaway, I have too much fabric already! When my mom died I inherited her funky (and fugly) stuff, and I overdye most of it with darker colors and use it for quilt backs, as there were a lot of 2-3 yard pieces that I just didn't know what to do with. I knew I wouldn't ever use it as it was.

  21. I have several Pandora sets, but I shuffle between the radio sets of: Tab Benoit, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aaron Neville, Colbie Caillat, Adele, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, BB King and Alicia Keys. The result is a blues feel with some zydeco and a little country, but perfect to sing along if you're an alto.

  22. I've never listened to Pandora, but I love Adele, and especially her song, "Someone Like You." Depending on my mood, sometimes it makes me cry....lol. Autumn is my favorite season, and orange is my favorite color, so I would be honored to have some of your mom's fabric. And, just to suck up a little, I am crazy about the quilt you've been working on. I think I will try the quilt as you go technique. I'm partially disabled, and spreading a quilt out anywhere would be difficult for me.

    Keeping my fingers crossed! 8-)

  34. These would be very pretty mixed in with my Mother's Dream blocks for my Thanksgiving quilt. Right now I'm into women artists, and all morning Adele's "Skyfall" has been stuck in my head. May have to watch the movie to get it moving along for something else to sneak in. :)

  44. I like your fabrics, but I'm always flummoxed when someone asks my favorite song and artist. I love so much music!

I'll go with a band and song dear to my heart and on my mind this month: Queen, "Somebody to Love." The reason this song is on my mind is that very soon (September) will be the 10-year anniversary of when I met my sweetheart. We were at a party, thrown by mutual friends, that was playing all Queen all night. It was so much fun. That year's theme, which was "Somebody to Love," turned out to be prophetic!

Here we are almost 10 years later!
