Straight from the fabric store, never washed (at least I don't think so). Okay, it was purchased quite a while back, but still nice fabric.
I will ship internationally. I've been listening to a lot of Pandora Radio lately, so leave me with a comment telling me your favorite song/artist and I will pick the winner based purely on a whim and song/artist that I like. If there is more the one of the same that I pick, I will let Random.org pick the winner on August 31st at 7:00 p.m. EDT. I'll announce the winner on Sunday morning September 1st. PLEASE make sure I have your email address, no email address = no entry!
I hope you all like my Fugly Fabric giveaway! I'm linking up with Lucy at Charm About You, go check out the rest of the giveaways!

ReplyDeleteIf you don't like country, then I suggest Jimmy Buffett - Changes in Latitude, Changes in Attitude.
Right now one of my favorite songs is Pontoon by Little Big Town.
ReplyDeleteWind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler! I love the movie "Beaches", and that the whole thing is about best friends for life. The movie just gave the song so much more meaning to me.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the fabric!
My favorite artist/song changes frequently too...depends on my mood! Today it's You've Got a Friend by James Taylor.

ReplyDeleteLately I have listened to Vampire Weekend (their recent album Modern Vampires of the City) a lot. Besides I can always listen to Simon and Garfunkel. ;-)
Lately I'm in love with Billy Joel...his songs have lots of words and tell a story...sometimes a sad story...but he's a great musician and song writer! Have you listened to 'Innocent Man" lately...wow, what a note he hits!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all country music. Garth Brooks is my favorite singer and I just love all of his songs. Thank you for the giveaway.

ReplyDeleteDena - livingwaterquilts@yahoo.com
My favorite country artist is George Strait! I don't think he's sung a song I didn't like. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeletePlease don't include me in your giveaway, I have too much fabric already! When my mom died I inherited her funky (and fugly) stuff, and I overdye most of it with darker colors and use it for quilt backs, as there were a lot of 2-3 yard pieces that I just didn't know what to do with. I knew I wouldn't ever use it as it was.
ReplyDeleteI like blue grass music and on my Pandora that is what I listen to most. I like the song old crossroads pretty well. So many people sing the song and its possible the lyrics are by Bill Monroe. You can listen to several versions on youtube!
ReplyDeleteOk, this isn't on my top 10 iPod list, but Faith by George Michael came on. I couldn't help it; I had to turn up the car radio and belt it out :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope this fugly song will make you laugh...listen to it on you tube, by Kevin Bloody Wilson.
ReplyDeleteShes a Supa Mega Fugly

Thanks for sharing! One of my current favorites is George Winston's Waltz for the Lonely.
ReplyDeleteI have several Pandora sets, but I shuffle between the radio sets of: Tab Benoit, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aaron Neville, Colbie Caillat, Adele, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, BB King and Alicia Keys. The result is a blues feel with some zydeco and a little country, but perfect to sing along if you're an alto.
ReplyDeleteI've never listened to Pandora, but I love Adele, and especially her song, "Someone Like You." Depending on my mood, sometimes it makes me cry....lol. Autumn is my favorite season, and orange is my favorite color, so I would be honored to have some of your mom's fabric. And, just to suck up a little, I am crazy about the quilt you've been working on. I think I will try the quilt as you go technique. I'm partially disabled, and spreading a quilt out anywhere would be difficult for me.
ReplyDeleteKeeping my fingers crossed! 8-)
I'm obsessing with a Pandora mix of Kate Nash, Pink and Ingrid Michaelson. I enjoy singing with them at the top of my lungs, hoping that no one hears me at a stop sign with my windows down.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how or why but lately I have become obsessed with Yodeling. Mary Schneider has some great stuff out. Love your Fugly Fabrics too :-)
ReplyDeleteChelratee@yahoo.com

ReplyDeleteThese would be very pretty mixed in with my Mother's Dream blocks for my Thanksgiving quilt. Right now I'm into women artists, and all morning Adele's "Skyfall" has been stuck in my head. May have to watch the movie to get it moving along for something else to sneak in. :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing grace. It calms me when nothing else can. Blessing, babscorbitt at gmai dot com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabric. I'm really into Pitbull right now; his music is great for staying up late & working on things. Very energizing
ReplyDeleteElton John. Anything he does is wonderful. My hubby and I started dating the same time Elton came on the music scene with Your Song.

I like your fabrics, but I'm always flummoxed when someone asks my favorite song and artist. I love so much music!
ReplyDeleteI'll go with a band and song dear to my heart and on my mind this month: Queen, "Somebody to Love." The reason this song is on my mind is that very soon (September) will be the 10-year anniversary of when I met my sweetheart. We were at a party, thrown by mutual friends, that was playing all Queen all night. It was so much fun. That year's theme, which was "Somebody to Love," turned out to be prophetic!
Here we are almost 10 years later!
Billy Joel. Reminds me of my younger days!
