I've got a little slice of a rainbow that I'm giving away for Sew, Mama, Sew's Giveaway days. (If you don't know what that is, oh wow, you need to check it out - hundreds of blogs linking up and giving fabulous stuff away).
I didn't get a chance to make something this time, so I'm giving away SIX fat quarters (orange, red, green, yellow, blue and purple) of high quality quilting fabric from my local quilt store.

ReplyDeleteThis is what I think. Using 2 or 3 colours require some knowledge of what works with what. But rainbow colours is easier in that sense.

Also, those of us who experience harsh winters/cloudy grey winters need to brighten up our lives, and having something quilty around the house that is in rainbow colors is uplifting.

ReplyDeleteHmmm, why people are drawn to rainbow colours? I think this is a behavioural thing learned in childhood: rainbows are always associated with things that are good, pretty, nice, or full of luck.
