I think it's a testament to the machine that it ran as well as it did, threaded incorrectly. Threading it correctly has allowed me to loosen the top tension and less thread breaks. YIPPEE!
I will say that quilting on the Tiara really makes the quilting go quite quickly.
I finished the red section of my Red Window quilt and I started the quilting the left side of the quilt. I think this quilt will be nice and snuggly with the fleece on the back. I love how well the quilting shows on the fleece.
I've also made good progress on my casserole carrier this week.
I've been waiting on something to add to my carrier to make it complete. I received it yesterday, so hopefully I'll finish this up this weekend.
All in all, not a bad week!
Here are this week's stats:

ReplyDeleteWell it might have been a silly mistake, but at least you are up and running now! Your quilting is very interesting to see....fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteI really prefer for a machine to have a "follow me" thread guide on the machine so it is obvious where I need to go. I am glad you found the missed stirrup guide. It is great to be able to stitch with few thread breaks.
ReplyDeleteYour not the only one who has done this, and not the last I'm sure!!! Glad you found it!
ReplyDeleteyep well don't feel too silly i just worked through the same problem with my george and felt like fool when i finally figured it out...
ReplyDeleteI love your wave FMQ. Looks gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYes, those thread guides really mess up the tension for a long-arm. First think to check. Glad it worked out for you.
Such amazing quilting!!!
