Blocks Into Rows

I've started joining the blocks of my Layers quilt. I've gone from nine blocks to three rows.
I'm using kind of a mushroomy taupe for the 3 inch sashing on the front
I think the back of the rows looks pretty cool too.
I'm using Madrona Road text fabric for the sashing on the back.
Click here, if you would like to see QAYG method I'm using to join the blocks.

I'm linking up today with A Quilt Story for Fabric Tuesday and Free Motion by the River for Linky Tuesday.

  1. Pat I just love this quilt. I was wondering if you would mind if I make 'my version' using some of the design elements. I do not intend to copy it at all, but make what this has inspired in me. I actually dreamed about it last night - which was a bit odd. In my dream there were different colors in your quilt. I didn't realize it until I saw the quilt in this post. That was a very vivid dream!
