Fugly Fabric {Giveaway} Sneak Peak!

Charm About You

Lucy at Charm About You has the wonderful idea of a Fugly Fabric giveaway! Since I inherited so much fabric from my mom, I can't help but want to join in. The giveaway is Tuesday February 7th (which is coming up faster than you can imagine). Here's some of the fabric I'm thinking about giving away.
It may not be designer fabric, but it is good quality fabric.

This is just a possible fabric, I have lots more to choose from.
Now the question for you all, would you rather have larger pieces (a yard) of a few fabrics, or smaller pieces (half yard) of more fabrics? Second question, is the fabric above too fugly to giveaway?

  2. Honestly I wouldn't choose these fabrics but I have to say that you never know what amazing thing quilters can create from even the most fugly fabrics so i think if it isn't a print you are going to use, then the next person might be looking for that exact shade!! And for me I prefer bigger cuts but I don't do much "scrappy" quilting so others I am sure disagree with me. Fun idea!

  3. Don't know what's the matter with me...I think the fabrics are lovely. blush
Half yards would be fine..enough to work with, but that larger floral stripe might need a larger amount to be able to work with it better...

  4. I think it depends what folk wish to do with it. If I was putting it into a costume, I might want a larger piece, if cutting up for quilting, smaller would be fine.
And no they are not too ugly, It is a matter of which project!

  7. Hmmm... I can't really choose, because both choices have their appeal! Large pieces are better for some projects-- even necessary--- but small bundles are really nice for quilting projects! :-) And too fugly?! NO WAY!!! I love them!! They'd certainly be welcome in my stash! :-)
