I continued with a little wonkiness on the back. I really like just the one row that breaks up the two different batiks. Speaking of the two different batiks, I needed a little bit more batik fabric and of course couldn't find more of the same batik fabric I used on the top part of the back. I had an opportunity to stop in a Quilt Shop and found the bottom fabric, with nothing to go on but my memory . I think I did pretty good.
Anyway, I think this will make a great back for this quilt.

Love your backing for this funky quilt! You did a GREAT job of picking that fabric from memory.... it goes perfectly. I actually like it better than using the same fabric. It adds interest and dimension!
ReplyDeleteAt first I didn't see a difference in the batiks. But then I looked at the close-up and saw it Great job. I love the piecing split that makes it work!
ReplyDeleteQuilt is amazing! It is so far out of my comfort zone, but love how those modern look!
