The inspiration for the colors! |
I started cutting this quilt about a year ago. I pieced it together last spring and started quilting it last summer. It was the first quilt that I started FMQ on, although I have quilted (and finished) a couple of quilts before this quilt. My Hip To Be Square/Free Motion Sampler quilt is done! YIPPEE, SKIPPEE!

I love those colours that you have used, and the individual quilting gives it that extra zing, Love it.
ReplyDeletewow, love the colors!! And all the different quilting, is just gorgeous. I think I'll try the little squares instead of pebbles sometime, really liked that. And the flowers are super cute. Great job!
ReplyDeletewowsers, not only is the patchwork beautiful but the quilting is fantastic too! How fun that each block is done differently, that looks like so much work! Great job, it's beautiful.

ReplyDeleteOh I love the colors in that quilt. My wife always try's to keep me from finding all of the cool colors I went crazy the other day and bought a couple dozen orange FQ. She hates them and I love them haha.
