Another Quilty Purse In-Process

Yesterday morning I was just sitting down to start sewing on another quilty purse (for a fast approaching birthday present), when my dear hubby yelled up stairs "Can you come help me for a minute?" Oh yeah, I had promised to help him 'move dirt'! We cleaned out five window boxes and three huge planters and took the dirt down to the beach garden to shore it up a bit. Also cut off the peonies and pulled some weeds...I hate that winter is coming full speed at us! I shouldn't complain, we haven't had a frost yet and some stuff is still blooming. Besides, I will have more opportunities to sew in the dead of winter! Anyway, I did finally get back to working on the purse.

A little FMQ on the front pocket flap

I like quilting swirls!
This is quilty purse number three, I really liked how quilty purse one and two came out. It should only take a couple more nights to finish this up!
